Since the last edition of Learning Futures we’ve seen a major development in the world of AI: the “birth” of GPTs - aka user-created “assistant bots”.
Just last week, OpenAI released a new “assistants” function which lowered the point of entry to “building your own ChatGPT” to pretty much zero. Microsoft quickly followed suit with Microsoft Studio Copilot which “lets anyone build custom AI copilots.”
In this month’s special GPT edition, I deep dive the implications of GPTs for education, sharing examples of bots built by and for educators and asking the question: is this the moment that AI enters the classroom and truly revolutionises education?
